My Background: As a third-year medical student, I deeply understand the challenges life throws our way. The demanding nature of medical school, coupled with challenging exams, pushed me to a breaking point. I found myself caught in a cycle of poor diet, weight loss, and the shadows of depression, making even simple daily tasks seem difficult.
The Turning Point: In the midst of these struggles, I made a vow to myself—never again would I let my health and well-being suffer. The catalyst for this change? The gym. It became not only my place of destress but also the space where I rediscovered my strength and resilience.
